Featured Winery:
Monte Tondo Winery

Monte Tondo Winery is a delightful find. This family owned winery has had three generations of wine making and it shows! Monte Tondo is located in the Veneto region of Italy tucked away in the hills of Soave. The primary grapes being grown on the three vineyard sites owned by Monte Tondo Winery are Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave. The vineyards total about 61 acres situated on some of the best plots that the Soave zone has to offer. Our featured wine from this producer is the Monte Tondo Soave Classico 2009.

Featured Brewery:
Oakshire Brewing

Making beer in Eugene may at times seem daunting beneath the ever-growing shadow of Ninkasi, but Oakshire Brewing has been doing exactly that since 2006, and at a consistently high level of quality that has people taking notice. Though the brewery's local food, homebrew bar and urban farm may make them seem decidedly Eugene, a deeper examination reveals a diversity and quality that lands Oakshire deservedly among the best breweries of today. In addition to their year-round lineup, Brewmaster Matt Van Wyk and his team have created a barrel-aging program, a seasonal lineup, and a string of single batch beers that make them unlikely to repeat as "Most Underrated Oregon Brewery" in 2011.

Oakshire's Watershed IPA, Overcast Espresso Stout, and Amber Ale are available in draft and 22 oz. bottles year round, and coming soon is their seasonal offering O'Dark:30, a Black IPA that easily ranks among the best in an extremely trendy and delicious style.

Oakshire is located at 1055 Madera Street in Northwest Eugene, and has a tasting room open every Saturday from 12-4 with tours and beer-to-go that will make you want to visit every week.
